Christopher Lee Dies at 93

Sir Christopher Frank Carandini Lee, the British actor, has passed.  He’s famous for a ridiculously long and successfully career in which he portrayed iconic characters such as:

Count Dracula

Sherlock and Mycroft Holmes (separate instances)

James Bond villain Francisco Scaramanga, aka “the man with the golded gun”

Saruman, the fallen wizard from Lord of the Rings

Count Dooku/Darth Tyranus

His credits are much longer than that, seeing as he’s been in over 200 films (holy crap really?), but those are just a few highlights.

While he often played the villain, the fact that he served in World War II made him a hero in real life.
