We Can Be Heroes, just not today

If you’ve been enjoying the revival of Heroes: Reborn, be sure to tune into the finale on January 21, as it has been announced there are no plans to continue the series.

“That was always the plan, unless Tim woke up one day and said, ‘Oh, I have another chapter to tell.’ But I think we’re coming to the end of the world, maybe. Stay tuned,” he said.

Tim refers to Tim Kring who created the original series and this one.  There was talk that additonal series would revolve around all new characters, but now we’ll never know.

Personally, I didn’t jump into this one, but Casey (co-host of the Geek vs Week podcast) seemed to enjoy it, somewhat.  I do give credit to the original Heroes for being somewhat ahead of its time with superheroes on TV, but now that we’re swamped with notable big name Marvel and DC characters, I would imagine it’s hard to compete.

Did you watch Heroes Reborn?  How was it?  Do you think they should make an additional series?
