Should You Watch the OA?

The OA is a series on Netflix that centers on Prairie Johnson, an adopted young woman who resurfaces after having been missing for seven years. Upon her return, Johnson calls herself “The OA”, exhibits scars on her back, and can see, despite having been blind when she disappeared. Reviews for the OA  are mixed, and very polarizing on social media. Tony and Casey both binged this series, and discuss if you should spend the time to watch it.

We also welcome back longtime co-host Betty who returns from a six month internship at Disney World where she lived and breathed Disney’s Spirit of Aloha dinner show.

Then we turn to Tony who’s known for having a mile-long TV to do list but he used some time off from work to get caught up on some TV shows and watch some new ones including the aforementioned OA, Flash, Arrow, Legends of Tomorrow, Mr. Robot, and some surprise TBS comedies including Search Party and People of Earth. Did he use his time off to just add more shows to his list instead of crossing them off?

Continuing on the TV show discussion, Casey brings his list of his 10 most anticipated new shows of 2017.  There are some good ones on this list, which makes me wonder how  we will find the time to add these in with our regular slate of shows.

All this and the usual random tangents on the latest episode of the Geek Versus Week podcast.
