“Move or you will be moved” WHAT!? Who is that? She just straight up talked to Black Widow like a chump. Black Widow is one of the most badass women ever to appear on screen, and this mysterious woman didn’t even care. OMG!!! Oh snap, they about to fight! Whaaaaaaat? That was me while watching Captain America: Civil War. With six words and very little screen time, actress Florence Kasumba left many movie goers asking, “Who was that woman?” And if you have limited Black Panther comic book knowledge like me, you immediately ran to research it. As she was only credited as “Security Chief,” this leaves open some possibilities, but the context and appearance leave many to believe she is a member of the Dora Milaje. The who what you say?The Dora Milaje (pronounced “dora-meh-LAH-shay”) are the personal bodyguards of the Black Panther, recruited from every tribe of Wakanda. In addition with their protective function, they are also a pool of superior Wakandan women. An ancienttribal tradition, the Dora Milaje were assembled as potential queens for an unmarried king, maintaining the peace in Wakanda by ensuring that every tribe has the opportunity to put forward one of their daughters for the crown.Source: http://marvel.wikia.com/wiki/Dora_Milaje_(Earth-616)Oh man, now I definitely can’t wait to see more. Unfortunately the Black Panther film isn’t set to release until 2018. What to hear our Captain America: Civil War discussion?
